Füürtüfel muffins

There are many muffins out there – but none taste as incredible as these! Fresh zucchini with garlic and finely grated «Füürtüfel» cheese. The dough is ready in the twinkling of an eye. Into the oven with it – and a short while later you can surprise your friends and family with a wonderful cheesy recipe!

serves 4 Personen
230 g «Füürtüfel»
220 g light pure spelt flour
2 tsp. baking powder
0.5 tsp. baking soda
0.5 tsp. salt
2 eggs
2 dl milk
0.5 zucchini
2 garlic cloves
1 onion
muffin tray or cupcake molds


  1. Finely dice the onions and garlic, cut the zucchini into small cubes and whisk everything together with the milk and eggs.

    Mix the flour with the baking powder, baking soda, and salt, then stir into the milk and egg mixture.

    Add the grated «Füürtüfel» cheese, reserving approx. 40g.

    Pour the mixture evenly into a greased muffin tin or cupcake trays, decorate with the rest of the cheese, and bake in a preheated oven at 200 degrees for 30-35 minutes. Serve hot from the oven.

Tip: Served as canapés, these perfectly complement a light white wine; or they can be teamed with a mixed salad and eaten as an evening meal.
